Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Motor Vehicles Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by motor vehicles over an area of highway being Southdown Road Millbrook between the junction for Maker View Road and grid reference SX4341852705.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because cabling works are being executed on or near the road.

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, school buses, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed on site, however, for further information please go to https://one.network/?tm=126887624 or contact Sunbelt Rentals on 03700500792
