I have lived on the peninsula since 2013 and many of friends have used the skate park over the years. My children were born and have used it throughout their lives and continue to do so. Unfortunately it has gone into disrepair. Upgrading the skatepark is definitely what a deserving community spirited place like millbrook needs!
Thank you TimTrimz for your raffle prize for our for the first fundraiser back on 19th September 2021.
I’ve been privileged enough to be on board with the project since day one and have been glad to help out where and when I can; using my limited skills and resources. My in laws have lived on the Rame peninsula for decades and I’ve lived here since 2017. Millbrook is a very special place and has a community spirit unlike elsewhere I’ve lived prior. I grew up loving Board Sports and now I have a young nephew and niece; I’d love for them to grow up having a safe and quality skatepark right on their doorstep
In addition to supporting Aaron with managing all the skatepark social media posts, Chris producing all the fundraising posters and has volunteered his time and expertise by producing and managing the official Millbrook Skatepark website – https://www.millbrookskatepark.co.uk/
