Cow parsley – New Road

May 17, 2024 | Community News, Cornwall Council, Council News

The Parish Council has some emails regarding the visibility issues and length of the cow parsley around Millbrook Lake.    Advice has been sought and the following response was received from Cormac’s Environment Steward – East

“I have had a discussion with the Highways Safety Inspector for the area and on inspection he has concluded the there is no defect to the verge that would warrant any action at this time. The verge has been cut as to the Cornwall Council specification and due to the 20mph speed restriction he sees no concern for visibility.

I have attached a link to some information relating to verge cutting, if you any other concerns please let me know, Verge Management and Grass Cutting – Cornwall Council.  “
