Statement from Rame First Responders – Chris Gaulton

Aug 10, 2022 | Community News

Christopher (Chris) Gaulton
1947 – 2022

It is with profound sadness that the Rame Peninsula Community First Responders announce the death of Chris Gaulton, their team leader, after a very short but aggressive illness. Chris, who lived in Millbrook, was the last remaining founder member of the responders, having joined upon the group’s creation in 2005. During that period he must have attended literally hundreds of calls (shouts) to local medical emergencies in response to a request from the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust and more than one person owes their life to his diligence, consciousness and total commitment. Chris’ passing will leave both the Rame Peninsula Community First Responder Group and the local community very much the poorer. Our sympathy and condolences go out to his wife Gwyn and family.
