Millbrook Tractor Park replacement roundabout

Feb 20, 2023 | Community News, Council News

At the Council meeting on 21st February 2023, the Council will review the proposals for a replacement roundabout.

The current roundabout was purchased in 2010 costing £11,175 including safety surfacing (the equivalent usage of £1,000 per annum).  During the Parish Council meeting held on 15th November a contractor quotation was approved but following the appointment the quotation was revised and the cost was considerably increased.

I like the idea but feel there needs to be a seat for children that cannot hold themselves up on their own or need some help (more like the baby swings) and a wheelchair safe area to park in. The park is already none wheelchair friendly and hardly any disabled friendly things to play on.
