My Nature Haven

Welcome to our ‘My Nature Haven’ map, which you can contribute to by telling us what amazing things you have done for wildlife in Millbrook.

Our map pictures the village as never before, helping to identify areas and opportunities to improve our community for wildlife. Whether it is your garden, place of work, your school or park there is always something you can do to make it better for wildlife.

Whatever you do, be it making bird boxes, building ponds, or providing planters and wildflowers, you can all contribute to our map.

Maybe you feed the birds in your garden. This one thing will get you a yellow flower on the map. Perhaps you’ve also planted wildflower seeds, or put up a bird box? Two actions for wildlife give you a red flower and three actions an orange one. If you’ve made a hole in your fence for hedgehogs or left your grass long, to go a bit wild as well, you could get a blue flower (four things for wildlife) or best of all, for five or more things, a purple flower. Let’s get the map covered with flowers and make Millbrook one big nature reserve.

Tell us so we can share your actions on our map today!
