Cormac Consultation Event

Aug 6, 2024 | Community News

Cormac will be running a consultation from 15th August for three weeks, to gauge public opinion on a proposal to instal Wig-Wag lighting at the bottom of Hounster Hill just before the bend by Bar Tusker. The lighting will flash when a vehicle coming down Hounster Hill into the Narrows triggers the sensors, alerting drivers of vehicles approaching the corner from Dodbrook to something coming down the hill.
There will be an informal consultation event in the Village Hall (Balcony Room) on 15 Aug from 14:00 to 18:30 so that people can come and ask officers questions and express their views.
In addition, on 15 August a trial of the sign will be taking place to see if it is successful and to assess the impact on traffic in the wider area.
