Option A

Left as it is – Maintained as per current grass cutting contract

Leave the field in its current condition with a mosaic of short and long grass to be maintained by the Parish Council in an informal design encouraging biodiversity, wildlife habitat and the natural environment.

Option B

Partially mowed for Shared Community Space (Trial Period for one year):

The Parish Council would cut the central area of the field short to a height of approximately 10cm during the summer season and it would be of a suitable standard for community activities. The cut central area will cover an area of 30m x 25m..

Option C

Mowed by Millbrook Football Club for matches and training sessions to take place on the field (trial period for one year)

Millbrook Football Club would cut and maintain an area of 90m x 50m (to a suitable height for football fixtures and training). This would be used by Millbrook Football Club Monday and Wednesday evenings 1830 – 2000 training and on Sundays 13:00 – 16:00 for games (as per fixture list)

Questions to answers relating to Millbrook Football Club proposals.
