What is Planning?
Planning is about making the best use of land for housing, business, industrial, agricultural, and recreation.
It is about making places where people want to live, work and play, places which are safe and inviting, and places which are sustainable.
What we do
Millbrook Parish Council are invited to submit comments on all applications within the parish boundaries.
The Counsellors have attended several Cornwall Council run training sessions to ensure we are up to date on all planning rules.
Planning meetings
These are held on the third Tuesday of the month in the village hall and start at 7.00pm and are open to the public who can voice their opinion in the open forum at the beginning.
We do take these views in consideration. Our comments are then forwarded to Cornwall Council to be included in their decision process.
More information on Cornwall Council planning can be found in the Environment and Planning section of their web site.
You can view planning applications and make comments on the online planning register.
Tip – it is much easier to find an application if you enter the planning application number in the Search field. This number can be found in the Planning Meeting Minutes at the top of this page.
