Information received from Cornwall Streetworks:

These are urgent works which are being undertaken by National Grid under their legal right as a Statutory Undertaker. Any questions/requests about their works would need to be directed to National Grid. Tel 0800 096 3080

Update 17/08/2023 - I have just spoken with the Duty Manager. Signs are being put up for the businesses in Gallows Park etc. first thing tomorrow morning. Repair work is being carried out tomorrow morning. In the afternoon the contractors will aim to backfill the excavation. Hopefully the road will be reopened at the weekend and closed again on Tuesday 22nd August for final repairs.
