During the Parish Council meeting held on 17th March 2026, the Parish Council approved the resurfacing works quotation from Cormac for Millbrook Village Hall Car Park and Greenland Car Park.

Information received from Cormac

• The car parks will need to be closed to the public for the working day due to the size of machinery needing access and the dust which is generated when removing the old road surface.
• People will be able to use the car park in the evening but need to be aware there will be temporary surfaces and level differences.
• The works should take us two days, the first day removing and cutting all the patches and the second day laying it back.
• Cormac will be onsite from 7am onwards but won’t start noisy works until 8am. The patches should be sufficiently cool to drive on from 16.00 onwards.
• Pedestrian access both to Millbrook Pharmacy and the Village Hall shall be maintained, and the operatives on site will accommodate vehicular access for the less mobile, wherever possible.
• It is anticipated that works will only take two days but in the event of unexpected weather or other unforeseen circumstances works will extend into Wednesday 30th September 2026.
