Installation of Folding Bollard to Ease Pedestrian Accessibility

During the full council meeting in February, it was agreed that a folding bollard be placed in front of the existing bollards close to the public toilets to ease pedestrian access from parked cars.
Extract from full council meeting minutes date 17th February 2026 below:
155.2 Pedestrian safety access from the footpath near the public toilets: Due to vehicles regularly blocking pedestrian access to the footpath near the public toilets (Potes Lane) the Council resolved to install a foldable bollard. The budget costs of up to £500 included 1000mm foldable bollards, fixings, keys and installation Proposed Cllr S Lewis. Seconded Cllr Elworthy. Unanimous
