Free First Aid/Defibrillator (AED) Training

Jun 6, 2022 | Community News

We have two Defibrillators in Millbrook; Millbrook Parish Council has one on the wall of the public toilets on The Parade, and Millbrook Football club have one too. Have you ever wondered how you might respond in an emergency having to use one them?
The machines are in fact really easy to use following the voice commands, but having some basic training definitely provides a level of confidence and familiarity with the procedure.
Millbrook Parish Council are funding free First Aid/Defibrillator (AED) training for up to 20 local residents.
We have pushed back the date to September now to give local community groups and residents time to sign up.
The training will take place over one evening session from 6:30pm-9pm.
Although the training is free, we kindly suggest discretionary donations go to Rame Responders to support the amazing service of the volunteers.
